Here's what's new at Quiltworx for September 2020.

Hello everyone! We hope you are all hanging in there this summer, and that you and your families are safe and well. Maybe you’ve been able to sew a little more than usual, which could definitely be considered a silver lining during these unusual times. We’ve been busy writing patterns, cutting kits, hosting small retreats, and working in the video studio putting together some block demonstrations we think you’ll enjoy. Today we’re happy to share our newest patterns with you, including two smaller projects that are quick and easy, and perfect for quilters of all skill levels.

If you’re interested in kits for the patterns below, we’ve provided several links with each project that will take you to: Quiltworx kits in Quiltster, Certified Shop/Certified Instructor kits in Quiltster, and finally to our Quiltworx Kits and Classes group on Facebook. If there aren’t any kits listed in Quiltster, our Facebook group is a great place to search for, or request a kit. We’ll also be featuring the Quiltworx kits in Quiltster with the patterns below.

These new patterns are also available in the Quiltster App, and we’re adding old patterns as we can, too! If you’ve never heard of Quiltster, it’s an incredible fabric auditioning software that allows you to pick and choose fabrics before you spend money. It’s also a great place to make and/or order kits in your favorite fabrics through the Marketplace.

We’re so pleased to introduce this eye-catching new design that showcases fabrics by Kaffe Fasset from FreeSpirit Fabrics! The Crimson Poppy cover quilt was made by the talented CI Tammy Doane. It’s 68×68, and can be expanded to 99″ square with a variety of queen expansion borders (shown below). The techniques used to create the blocks in this quilt are demonstrated by Tammy and Judy in a series of FREE online videos on our Quiltworx YouTube Channel. Grab your patterns now and follow along!

The cover quilt was pieced and quilted by Certified Instructor Jenny Clark of Jenny Clark Quilting, using fabrics from the Kashmir Kaleidoscope collection from P&B Textiles.
