Deep beneath the surface, where sunlight filters through dark water and ancient ships rest undisturbed, the greatest treasures wait to be discovered. Treasure Hunter invites you to dive in and claim yours.

This breathtaking 118″ square masterpiece is the newest addition to our beloved Snowfall Mixer series, and it may be our most dramatic yet. Judel Niemeyer channeled the mystery and beauty of the deep sea when she conceived this striking layout and colorway, drawing from Certified Instructor Michael Davison’s gorgeous Sunken Treasure fabric collection, designed exclusively for Riley Blake Designs. Rich navy, luminous teal, and warm antique gold flow across the surface like treasure glinting in a diver’s searchlight — a color story as captivating as the ocean itself. Michael also pieced and quilted the stunning cover quilt, and the results speak for themselves.

At the heart of the design, a magnificent feathered compass star radiates outward with the kind of stunning complexity that has made Quiltworx patterns legendary — and here’s the secret: it’s far more achievable than it looks. Judy and Bradley Niemeyer have spent decades perfecting techniques that do the hard work for you. Many seams are intentionally offset, meaning less matching, less stress, and more of those deeply satisfying moments when everything just falls into place. This is a quilt that doesn’t just cover a bed — it commands a room, and you’ll beam with pride knowing you made it yourself.

Treasure Hunter showcases all of our latest techniques, including elegant curved piecing, and our most refined precision assembly methods using Smart Corners and TRP lines — tools and processes designed to make even the most intricate work feel achievable and deeply satisfying.

Ready to make a second one for someone just as deserving? Replacement Papers are available so you can dive back in without starting from scratch.

And to make your treasure hunt as smooth as possible, our full suite of Quiltworx Notions has everything you need: specialty rulers, repositionable glue and glue pens, precision rotary cutters and blades, Purple Thangs, needles, threads, and more — every tool thoughtfully chosen to help you piece, organize, and assemble with confidence.

Whether it anchors a master bedroom or becomes the crown jewel of your quilting portfolio, Treasure Hunter is a showpiece worthy of the name.

The treasure was here all along. You just had to make it.
