Diamond Wedding Ring Supply List: You will need the Diamond Wedding Ring pattern. Bring enough fabric to class with you to make the quilt. Yardage requirements are listed on the back of the cover sheet. If you are not sure what colors you want to use, then bring some practice fabric. You will need 1/3 yard of fabric for the background and 1/6 yard of eight different colors for the arcs and border strips. We will go over the cutting in class so you do not need to do any precutting before class. Bring your fabrics folded, pressed and ready to cut. Please work with fabrics that are at least 42″ wide.

Things to do before class:
You must read pages 1 and 2 before class.
Make your templates (follow the instructions under “Templates” on page 2).
Cut out your foundation paper, (follow the instructions on page 2 at the bottom of column 1).

Note: If you know where your colors are going, then make a color chart. If you want some help then wait until class.

Following are required items for the class:
Small iron
Flat ironing board
Small scissors
Rotary cutter
Medium size cutting board
6″ by 24″ ruler
Add-A-Quarter ruler
A Purple Thang
Seam ripper
Scotch tape
UHU Washout fabric glue stick
Marking pencil
1/4″ foot for your sewing machine
Size 70 or 80 sewing machine needles
Surge protector
Purple Thang
Extension cord
A good working sewing machine
Flower pins
Large & small Ziploc bags
Stapler
A high quality silk finish cotton thread

Applique Supplies: The pattern has applique and Judy’s applique techniques will be demonstrated.  To complete this work, you will need the following:
Dissolve stabilizer
Bias bars
Roxanne basting glue
Size 80 and 60 sewing needles
Size 50 machine embroidery thread
Lightweight top stitching thread.  Note:This can be invisible, rayon, silk, or size 50 embroidery thread.
