Pre-cutting the fabrics is a mandatory requirement prior to taking this course. Please begin preparing for class at least 3-WEEKS prior to the class to make sure that you are able to get familiar with your pattern and complete the pre-cutting before hand. It is important that you have your pre-class cutting completed. If this step is not completed, you will have a very difficult time keeping up and participating in the instruction. We recommend reading through your entire pattern before beginning.

Fabric Selection: Please refer to the yardage charts on the back of your pattern.

Preparing the Foundation Papers and Template Layout Sheets: Please read ‘Foundation Papers and Template Layout Sheets on page 2 of your pattern, and follow the instructions for Bag #1 – #6 on pages 2 and 3 of your pattern. You only need to cut one page of each of the foundations papers prior to class. Judy will demonstrate an easier method of doing this in class! Make sure to place all of the pieces in the correct bags!

Cutting Instructions: Please read through ‘General Cutting Instructions’ on page 3 of your pattern before beginning the steps below. We recommend checking our website for pattern corrections before you begin cutting your fabric.
