Judy Niemeyer Paper Piecing Class List
- 70/10 Microtex Needle
- High Quality Cotton Thread in a Neutral Color
- 12” Add-a-Quarter Ruler
- Flower head pins (their length makes then great for curved piecing)
- A “Purple Thang”
- Glue Stick (I use UHU sticks)
- Medium Sized Cutting Mat
- Rotary Cutter
- Ruler
- Approximately 3”x12” piece of template plastic (used for folding, can be cut from a full sized sheet)
- Sewing machine with a quarter inch foot (or the ability to move the needle position to a ¼”)
- Pattern for your project.
- Fabric: While any fabric can be used for Judy Niemeyer’s beautiful quilts, you’ll find that batiks are especially beautiful and easy to sew because they have no right or wrong side. (Make sure that your fabric has enough contrast)
- Large Ziploc Bags
- Optional: Stapler
- Assorted Binder Clips (small to large, these are the black binder clips that you can purchase at Walmart)
- Typical Sewing Supplies (Fabric scissors, thread supplies, seam ripper, etc.)
