Hello everyone! We’ve finalized our 2024 Montana retreat season and are ECSTATIC to announce that we’re doing our first Montana Quiltworx University, in addition to our regular Quilt Camps and retreat events that you’ve come to know and love!

All of these retreats (except the Quiltworx University) will be held at the Quiltworx Training Center, which is located at 100 Lincoln Lane, Kalispell MT. Click here for pics of the facility. Judy will be on hand for each event sharing her knowledge, techniques, and passion for quilting with you.

We tend to fill up fast, so make your reservations now! An initial deposit of $400 is due upon signup for this retreat and is NON-REFUNDABLE.  Final payment is due 90 days before the start date of your retreat. Thank you, and we hope to see you soon!

QUILT CAMPS:

Join us for a Northwest Montana themed Quilting Retreat! These events include 9 nights of lodging, 5 days of classes, catered food (on the 5 days of classes), and 3 days to explore Northwest Montana on your terms (lodging at the Training Center included)!

You are welcome to bring any Quiltworx pattern in any stage of completion to work on! Our Quilt Camp retreats allow quilters not only time to sew with Judy, but time to explore one of the most sought after summer vacation spots in the US, Northwest Montana!

There are endless ways to enjoy the Flathead Valley in the summer including Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, and many of the surrounding resort towns full of restaurants, art galleries, theaters, and music! Find out more by clicking on the links below.

Each event costs $2,800 and is open to 10 people onsite and 2 people offsite.

QUILTWORX UNIVERSITY 2024!

Project: Exclusive Event Pattern Only – If you want to work on a different project, please sign up for a Quilt Camp or Quilt Retreat Event instead.

Join us October 13-18, 2024

This 5 day event is perfect for the beginner and advanced paper piecing enthusiast who wants to create a completely unique quilt! For each Quiltworx University event, we provide an exclusive project available only to attendees! This project will be based on the Congo Star Mixer and will offer 3 different quilt size options. Each size layout can contain 3-5 or more block groups. Each block group has several different block options to choose from, which means each student can have a completely different looking quilt! Not only that, but you can customize your quilt design with fabrics from your stash, or from fabrics provided by Quiltworx for the event!

You’ll have free access to Quiltster for 6 months to plan your project, and you can work on it on your own, or we can help you with the design. Once you’ve decided on a quilt design, we will cut your kits down to strip size and have it waiting for you at the event so you can hit the ground sewing!

Along with Judy, we’ll be bringing in four Certified Instructors who will each be demonstrating on how to make the blocks in your quilt. Quiltworx will be providing an onsite store full of Judy’s favorite fabrics and notions. You won’t want to miss this event at the beautiful Snowline Acres in Kalispell, MT!
