In her remake of the popular Hawaiian Star pattern, Judy Niemeyer has adapted earth tone fabrics using the traditional Lone Star pattern into yet another masterpiece for foundation paper piecing. By blending color, texture, and value when selecting fabrics to use for the quilt, Judy successfully achieved a warm, bold, and dramatic look, reminiscent of life on the prairie.
