SUMMARY:Sea Holly Austin
DESCRIPTION:This class project is a variation of the Fire Island Hosta Group and is called the Sea Holly.  The quilt measures 65″ x 65″ and is composed of 8 leaves sewn in 2 color groups.  Behind the leaves are clamshell motifs and then a set of simple backgrounds.  We will spend 2 full days in class to complete one-fourth of the quilt;  the remaining 6 units for the other three-quarters will be completed on the student’s own time.  Come and join us to learn the Quiltworx methodology for paper piecing and you will be rewarded with a beautiful quilt.  This is the first of two classes;  the second meeting will be on September 15. \n
