DESCRIPTION:Pre Class instructions \nFractured Paint Box \n\nJudy Niemeyer Quilting\nwww.quiltworx.com \n  Pre-cutting the fabrics is a mandatory requirement prior to taking this course. \nPlease begin preparing for class at least 1-WEEK prior to the class to make sure that you are able to get familiar with your pattern and complete the pre-cutting beforehand. \nIt is important that you have your pre-class cutting completed.  If this step is not completed\, you will have a very difficult time keeping up and participating in the instruction. We recommend reading through your entire pattern before beginning. \nBefore selecting fabrics you may want to check out our website at www.quiltworx.com and our facebook page\, there are many samples\, slide shows\, and color-changing quilts available for you to enjoy. \n Prior to class\, I would like to see the following: \n\nThat you have read and familiarized yourself with the Pattern Booklet\, including completion of all the Cutting Steps outlined on pages 2 and 3.  This booklet also covers your fabric selection\, layout\, fabric sorting\, organization\, and cutting instructions for your foundation units and template layout sheets.\n\nCORRECTIONS: PLEASE visit our website prior to class and make sure that you have the latest corrections for the pattern.  Corrections are listed in our pattern gallery on our website at http://www.quiltworx.com/patterns. Click on the Fractures Paint Box pattern and check the right column of the webpage for more information.  If your pattern has a QR Code printed on the back\, you may also scan this with your smartphone to go directly to the page and upload the corrections to your phone. \nMY WORD OF ADVICE:  This class is about paper piecing\, not cutting.  If you do not come to class with your cutting complete\, you will not have an opportunity to do any piecing during the workshop.  The cutting for this quilt takes time and organization and you will be behind the rest of the class without these steps COMPLETE! \n   \n  \n
