DESCRIPTION:Check out the beautiful sample at the Wadena Ben Franklin.  The 6-Color Summer Solstice is an adaptation of Judy Niemeyer Quilting’s “Summer Solstice” created by Certified Instructor Maureen Wood.  Pick out 2 darks\, 2 mediums and 2 lights to make this project.  Learn how to make the New York Beauty block\, master the “Judy” way of curved piecing\, and some strip piecing\, too!  This is a great beginner project.  If you know how to sew a 1/4″ seam and use a rotary cutter\, you have all the skills necessary for this class. \nPick up your pattern and pre-class preparation handout at Ben Franklin.  Please do all your prep and be ready to sew at 5:00 p.m. on Friday night.  We’re gonna have fun! \n  \nOctober 18\, Friday:   5-10 p.m. \nOctober 19\, Saturday:  9 am – 7 pm \nOctober 20\, Sunday:  11 am – 4 pm \n
