Hello quilting friends! Judy and Judel just returned from two really fun events, the Garden of Quilts Show in Lehi, UT, and a Quiltworx University in Tucson, AZ. They met some wonderful new people and made some absolutely gorgeous quilts! While they were gone we’ve been publishing new patterns like crazy. We have 8 new patterns although Prancing Peacock Queen was published a while ago, but we forgot to include it in the last newsletter, OOPS!

If you’re interested in kits for the patterns below, we’ve provided several links with each project that will take you to: Quiltworx kits in Quiltster, Certified Shop/Certified Instructor kits in Quiltster, and finally to our Quiltworx Kits and Classes group on Facebook. If there aren’t any kits listed in Quiltster, our Facebook group is a great place to search for, or request a kit. We’ll also be featuring the Quiltworx kits in Quiltster with the patterns below if we have any.

We’re excited to re-release one of our most popular patterns redesigned as part of the new Fireworks Mixer series coming later this year. 4th of July is a celebration in a quilt, bursting with colors and brightness. This new pattern is not compatible with the old one because it’s designed with 5 basic block groups most with multiple block design options that can be mixed and matched.

We’re pleased to announce our first ever Quilt-Along with Judy live event, and it’s FREE! Judy demonstrates her techniques for creating the Macaw queen and wall-sized quilts, and these techniques can be used for many of our patterns as well.

Mark your calendars! This 4-part series begins November 3rd and 10th covering the Macaw wall quilt, and continues with the blocks to expand to a queen size quilt on December 8th and 15th. The events will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) on our Quiltworx Facebook page and YouTube Channel.

If you can’t make the live events, all of the segments will be saved and available for viewing after the classes have ended on both Facebook and YouTube.

Quiltworx University goes to Stitchin’ Heaven!

Join us March 27-April 1, 2022 in Quitman, TX!

We only have 12 spots left at the very first Quiltworx University in Quitman, TX, at The Retreat Center located just across from the beautiful Stitchin’ Heaven store and showroom.

Our Quiltworx University events are for both the beginner and the most experienced paper-piecers. You will enjoy the opportunity to work with Judy, Judel and some of the most knowledgeable Certified Instructors. In addition to great fun and fellowship, you will learn Judy’s foundation paper piecing process, speed-cutting, chain-piecing, and curved piecing.

With our new pattern mixers, you have the incredible opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind quilt. With registration you will receive 6-months of Quiltster (which will become available approximately 4 to 6 months in advance of the event and extend for one to two months after) and will be able to use this program before the event to plan your project from block selection to selecting fabrics featured for the event that you love.

This will be Judy’s 5th visit to Stitchin’ Heaven to teach classes but the opportunity to work with Judy and her staff doesn’t come around often. She will be demonstrating use of her products, tools, and shortcuts to complete amazing quilts. If you want to make a once in a lifetime quilt, this is the event for you!
