| Sea Urchins
Bradley and Judy Niemeyer designed the layout and foundation pieces for Sea Urchins from a collection of bright and dark mottled batiks designed by Hoffman Fabrics. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units. Curved piecing and traditional piecing skills are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed.
This pattern uses a template layout sheet for cutting the fabric. Extra foundation papers will be available for a queen size. The extra paper packages will be available soon.
