| Glacier Pines
Bradley and Judy Niemeyer designed the layout and foundation papers for Glacier Pines. A collection of bali batiks designed by Hoffman Fabrics were used to make the quilt shown on the cover. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto the foundation units. Curved piecing, traditional piecing, and applique skills are required to join and finish the quilt after the foundation piecing is completed.
To make a queen size quilt add an additional 8” border around the quilt layout designed for this pattern. You can purchase extra foundation papers to increase the size of this quilt to make a larger king size quilt that measures 120” by 120”. |
