| The Cactus Rose was designed by Judy and Brad Niemeyer for foundation paper piecing. Fabrics for this quilt were furnished by Hoffman Fabrics of California. An antique applique pattern known as the "Wigs Rose" was the inspiration for this design. Instructions have been written for any level quilter, beginners to advanced. This pattern includes instructions for the 71" by 71" quilt shown on the cover. Extra foundation papers can be purchased to increase the original size to a 99" by 99" quilt. If you are interested in the larger quilt you will need to purchase the extra foundation papers listed below.
Purchasing Extra Foundation Packages; The extra foundation papers are sold and packaged separately. The extra foundation packages will include additional cutting instructions and yardage requirements for the 99" by 99" quilt. This package includes enough foundation paper to increase the original Cactus Rose pattern to a 99" by 99"layout.

enough foundation papers to complete the layout as shown on the cover
sheet to your left.

Cactus Rose Queen/King Extra Papers
This package includes enough papers to increase the size to 99" x 99" for the Queen size. If you want to go to the King size, you must add an additional border.
These papers are not available yet and will be backordered until Sept. 1st, 2005.
