| 4th of July
Brad and Judy Niemeyer designed the setting for the 4th of July. A collection of bright, medium, and dark batiks designed by Hoffman Fabrics of California were used to make the quilt shown on the cover. This quilt was designed for foundation paper piecing. Curved piecing and traditional piecing are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed. The pattern was written with beginners in mind and has many illustrations and graphics which compliment the written instructions. The pattern is also fun, using special cutting techiques which are explained in the instructions. Veteran paper piecers will also find the pattern interesting, allowing them to use their imagination in color selection to make their own version of the 4th of July!
We have designed extra foundation papers for the following sizes:
74” by 92” 92” by 92” 110” by 110”
Completion of any of the larger quilts will require the purchase of extra foundation papers packaged so that when included with this pattern, the combined amount will be sufficient for whichever larger size you wish to complete. The extra foundation papers or sold and packaged separately for each size. The extra foundation packages will include additional foundation papers, cutting instructions, and additional yardage requirements for each size. |
