The layout for Wild Goose Chase is an old favorite block designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer for foundation paper piecing several years ago. This block has been used in two other patterns we published called Gooseberry Garden and Flying South. Both patterns are still available on our Web Page.
This past year we have designed new, fast, and easy cutting instructions using Template Layout Sheets, making this a fun and easy quilt for any beginner or advanced quilter to make up in just a few days. A special thanks to Hoffman Fabrics of California for providing us with the fabrics to make the quilt shown on the cover page.
Purchasing Extra Foundation Packages; The extra foundation papers are sold and packaged separately. The extra foundation packages will include additional cutting instructions and yardage requirements for larger quilts. This package includes enough foundation paper to increase the original Wild Goose Chase pattern to a 66" by 80"layout. If you wish to make it larger, two packages will increase the size to 80" by 94" and three packages will increase the size to 94" by 108".
This pattern option includes the Wild Goose Chase basic pattern which includes enough foundation papers to complete the layout as shown on the cover sheet to your left.
