Brad and Judy Niemeyer designed the setting for the 4th of July. A collection of bright, medium, and dark batiks designed by Hoffman Fabrics of California were used to make the quilt shown on the cover. This quilt was designed for foundation paper piecing. Curved piecing and traditional piecing are required to join the units after the foundation piecing is completed.
