Andrea brings a unique set of skills to the Certified Instructors Program here at Quiltworx, with her extensive background in event planning, Andrea will be organizing retreats and cruises for Judy’s followers who cannot make it out to Montana.  Andrea is already organizing cruises in New England and the Southern Caribbean with our Certified Instructors and Quilting Instructor Guests. Mini -Retreats with a group of Certified Instructors are already in the works.  Information on new and exciting events will be posted on the Quiltworx Facebook page as soon as we have organized all the information. As far back as Andrea can remember she has always loved sewing/quilting and the “crafty things”. As a Certified Instructor for Judy Niemeyer Quilting, Andrea has found her passion in sharing the fun and useful techniques of paper piecing. Andrea lives in Maryland with her husband and two sons, and loves the simplistic things in life. Her keen eye for selecting colorways for quilts has made her sought after in helping her student’s color selection process.  Andrea travels all over to meet others who share her passion for quilting and looks forward to sharing her information with you. You can usually see Andrea attending most of the quilting shows/events in the Mid-Atlantic Area, not only as a teacher but as an avid fan and supporter of her student’s entries. Andrea usually “jumps on the ball” when a new pattern comes out, which allows her to get the newest and favorite Judy Niemeyer Pattern out to the consumer as quickly as possible.

Andrea is the owner of Quilt Sensations (www.quiltsensations.com) which provides patterns and kits of Judy’s Patterns, notions and most things you need for paper piecing.
